As we head into the second half of our Spring 2021 program, our cohort has begun learning the medical device sales process. Benjamin Conlon has stood out amongst the team and has been named this week’s “Intern of the Week”!
Ben has worked hard to increase his knowledge and develop certain communication skills in order to further his personal goals throughout this program. He is creating relationships with his coworkers through group projects and tasks including presenting information to the cohort in a direct and effective way.
Ben has shown a strong drive by continuing to improve his sales and presentation skills. He is willing to adjust his tactics when it comes to selling and communicating to doctors and clinics throughout the US.
The SSG team got the opportunity to talk with Ben to find out more about his future in the healthcare industry!
Q: In terms of long term career objectives, what are some goals you wish to achieve down the road?
Some of the long term goals I strive to achieve down the road are to exceed and perform well in terms of team quota. I also would like to develop beneficial client relationships in the medical device industry.
Q: How do you believe Sprekk Supply Group can aid your journey to achieving these goals?
I look to further add to my client relationship promotional skills, sales techniques and overall medical device knowledge in the healthcare industry.
Q: What are the skills you wish to gain from this internship program and how do you plan to utilize these skills to achieve your long term career objectives?
My goals upon completion of this program are to pursue a role that fosters my future career growth in the medical device industry ascertaining to sales promotion, territory management and executive and physician partnerships.
Q: What type of industry, program or graduate studies do you see yourself pursuing upon finishing school?
Looking ahead in my career, I plan to pursue a role in the medical devices sales industry selling into various hospitals and physician offices enabling me to develop a definitive company rapport and build solid business relationships that best serve and cater to target clients. Ben is a hard-worker and continuously comes prepared every single week.
